Palm Tree, Happy Tree

When people are asked to name a dream travel destination, a majority usually select fantastic tropical locales featuring swaying palms. Work, family obligations and the general routine of normal life makes many of us dream about exotic travel; windy beaches, margaritas by the pool and of course palm trees.
Whenever I travel to a tropical destination, as soon as I see my first palm tree I know that fun and relaxation are sure to follow. There is just something inherently pleasing about palm trees, both for what they represent as well as their own natural beauty, that never fails to put a smile on my face. That’s why I call palm trees my happy trees, and to help share this feeling of relaxation and dreams of tropical vistas, here are some of my favorite examples of the all-important palm tree.
